The comic is heavily inspired by my own journey with ant-keeping and wondering what a story about ant-keeping would be if it was from the Ant's perspective.
The ant featured in the comic is Prenolepis imparis, otherwise known as the "Winter Ant" or "False Honey Pot Ant".
